Gettin' Naked 2!!
I know I am wayyyyyyy behind on this one! I had wanted to purchase the Naked 2 palette ever since I have gotten more into make-up and the beauty world.
I finally broke down and purchased this palette in February at Ulta. I carried it around while shopping and then decided against it. But when I got to the car I turned around and marched right back into the store and purchase it! I can honestly say I have not used any other shadows since then! It's been almost 3 months!!
I decided on the Naked 2 rather than the 3 because the taupe colors work better with my skin tone. I have two favorite colors....YDK and Tease. I use YDK all over my lid and Tease on my crease. As you can see, I have already made a pretty good size dent in my YDK!
I know I am totally going backwards, but I would really like to get the Naked Basics palette next. I really need some more matte shadows since the 2 palette only has one. The Naked Basics palette is much cheaper too, with a price tag of only $27.00!
Let me know which Naked palette is your fav!

When You Want Your Home to Smell Like A&F Fierce.....
O-M-G......I have hit the mother load!!! The Bath & Body Works Mahogany and Teakwood candle smells JUST LIKE Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce cologne!
I don't know if anyone else is as obsessed with this scent as I am, but besides Aqua Di Gio, this is my all time favorite! When I was in high school, I literally wouldn't wash my clothes from there until after I wore them a few times just so they would still smell!! I know that sounds gross....but it's true! Since then, I have worked in a department store and wash EVERYTHING before wearing it! Take it from me, you should ALWAYS wash your clothes before wearing them. Ask anyone who has worked in a department store, I bet most if not all of them do!
The only thing better than the candle might be the wallflowers, only because your room smells like Fierce for 30 DAYS!!
Lash Primer....Bang or Bust?!?
I have been using the Mary Kay Lash Primer for awhile now! I would definitely put this product in the "bang" category!
I find that using the lash primer makes my mascara last longer throughout the day and actually makes the tube last longer as well because I don't have to use as much. My mascara goes one much smoother and easier after using the lash primer. I also have longer lashes, and this helps my lashes to stay curled and not to clump together. I would definitely recommend you to try this product!
I have also tried lash primers from Estee Lauder and e.l.f. I did like the Estee Lauder (it was actually the brand I tried first), but the Mary Kay is cheaper at only $15.00 versus Estee Lauder's $22.00 price tag. I ordered the e.l.f. to give it a try at only $3.00!! But as the old sayin' goes sometimes you get what you pay for.... I found it to be clumpy and simply just not good at all. Don't get me wrong, I do have some e.l.f products I like, this just wasn't one of them. These are the only brands I have tried, but I am sure many others carry this product as well.
If you decide to give this a try, let me what brand you purchased and what you think!

Orchid Noobie
I have never had a "green thumb" so to speak...but this year I have decided to try my hand at indoor flowers, starting with an orchid! I have always found orchids to be beautiful and peaceful. According to the label, orchids are one of the easiest flowers to grow. We shall see! After having my orchid for only about a week, a few of the blooms had began to droop and fall off. Eek!!
I have started reading, Phalaenopsis Orchid Care: The Ultimate Pocket Guide to Moth Orchids by Mary Ann Berdak. Although the label and book both elude to the simplicity of caring for an orchid, the more I read the more complicated it seems. I have learned that in order to have a healthy orchid you must have a good balance of humidity, water, and light. Light will be my challenge, as my house does not get a lot of natural light. I have read that orchids should be place in windows facing east. Of course, my window in my living room is facing west. Ugh!!
I am excited and have high hopes for my orchid!!
If anyone has any pointers, please let me know!
